Abelson Hall is home to the School of Biological Sciences, the Charles R. Conner Natural History Museum, the Abelson Hall Greenhouse, the Franceschi Microscopy and Imaging Center, and the following general university classrooms:

Looking out from the rear of the classroom over the rows of student seating and toward the front of the room where the instructor's podium, one display screen, and one whiteboard are located. Exit doors are located in the right front corner of the room and a bank of windows extends along the right wall of the room.
